Technology & services

VeriSIM’s strategic solutions are built from a perfect simulation of the target application – joined with the appropriate technology elements and consultancy services to optimise it for the specific business challenge of application prototyping, marketing or training.

The active diagram below explains the key elements of our unique offering.

Interface – Prototype, marketing or training interfaces hold and deploy the modules selected for a specific solution, and can be shown or hidden as required.
Tour mode – A self-paced, interactive, step-by-step walkthrough of a particular functional area, workflow or task.
Tutorial mode – A self-paced, interactive tutorial of a particular workflow or task. In a Tutorial, the user is asked to complete each step successfully before moving forward. Includes a support system that ensures the user’s success.
Try mode –Try mode is vital for the learning process. It allows the user to try the complete functionality of a workflow or task they have just learned as long as they follow the best-practice method they have just been taught.
Explore mode – Allows the user to use the simulated application just like the real application; the user can become familiar with all aspects of the system through actual hands on experience.
Guides – The Orientera information system informs the user about what they are trying to achieve, their progress through a workflow, and available options. ‘What’s This?’ lets the user find out specific information about any input area or link.
Dynamic Dialogue – Manages and deploys audio examples of user dialogues in sequence with the related workflow lesson. Delivers best practice examples of typical calls and response scenarios within the relevant lesson content.
Quick Links – Jump directly to any part of the simulation to easily promote individual features of a system. This can be used with marketing campaigns, or even in the live application to provide a powerful, context-sensitive "Interactive Help".
Tests and Reporting – Training modules include three different test formats for proving user competence and a Mini LMS Dashboard to manage and report on simulation training activity. A SCORM 1.2 interface module is also available for use with an existing LMS.
Accessible Demo – If you require a solution that also offers a DDA/W3C compliant demo, VeriSIM offers an Accessible Demo module designed to match the accessibility levels achieved by your live production application.
New Modules – VeriSIM is constantly releasing new modules designed to extend and better the performance of our solutions. You will be kept informed of the full list of available modules during discussions with VeriSIM.
Project Management – Part of every VeriSIM solution is its highly experienced team of Project Managers. They are responsible for coordinating and controlling all aspects of your VeriSIM solution delivery.
Simulation Build & Test – VeriSIM’s team of Software Engineers and Test Engineers work closely together to create the most precise and effective simulation solutions.
Data Model Template – VeriSIM’s solutions require a data model and example data sets to bring the solutions to life. VeriSIM can provide you with a bespoke data model template in order to make the data model creation process easier.
Content Authoring – Different VeriSIM solutions require different amounts of additional guide, marketing or training content. VeriSIM often authors this content, however you can choose to author this content yourself if preferred.
Simulation Support – As part of any deployment, VeriSIM offers technical support packages for both the Simulation Platform as well as the customisation and Module elements of your solution.
Simulation & Module Updates – During the term of the license agreement, VeriSIM offers simulation and module updates to remain in line with the live system, move the solution to the latest Simulation Platform or add new modules.
Need Analysis/Solution Design–This service analyses the application to be simulated and the associated prototyping, training or marketing challenges. It then designs and suggests the specific combination of technology and services required.
User Interface Design – VeriSIM offers design elements ranging from complete User Interface design, required during most prototype projects, to the creation of some bespoke link graphics used in a marketing solution.
Usability Consultancy – This service is particularly vital during prototype projects. VeriSIM's Usability Consultancy will ensure that both attractive and usable application interfaces are created .
Accessibility Consultancy – This service is vital during prototype projects which include application accessibility requirements. VeriSIM has wide experience in creating both an attractive and accessible application interfaces.
Marketing & Training Consultancies – You can benefit from our deep experience of application marketing and training. Our marketing simulations are now licensed to over 20 million people in the UK, while our training solutions have been used by tens of thousands.
Simulation Asset Export – Once an application prototype is signed-off, VeriSIM can make all of the prototype’s User Interface elements available for potential reuse in the production environment.
Simulation Platform – In 2005 this engine behind the world’s best application simulations enjoys its tenth year of continuous development. Micro-tiers of architecture with no other infrastructure perfectly mirror the performance of multi-tiered applications.
